Saskatoon is the largest city in Saskatchewan. With beautiful bridges connecting downtown with the east area of the city. Saskatoon is also known for the South Saskatchewan River and the amazing colors the sky provides, that’s why is called “the city of living skies”.
There’s a variety of restaurants with all kind of food around the city. During summer different activities take place at the river; dancing, yoga, taste of Saskatchewan, Jazz festival and much more is what people can enjoy throughout the warm weather. People in Saskatoon is very kind and friendly, definitely is a good place to study and have a good time.
Winter is a special season for Saskatoon, activities such as cross-country skiing, Lacrosse games, hockey, ice skating and snowball fights. Is a great idea to have a cozy jacket, nice pair of boots and appropriate clothes. Winter is cold and dry but is beautiful to see how the city changes from one season to the next one.
Saskatoon is a small city, meaning everything is pretty close, groceries, schools and even our Academy is located at downtown making life so much easier. Transportation is really good, buses are available the whole year and during summer, bikes are a good option.
The New York Times highlights the Remai Modern museum as “a centerpiece of Saskatoon’s redeveloping riverfront” and announced that Saskatoon has placed #18 on the list. Hotels, restaurants, history, people, cultures, architecture and Mother Nature make Saskatoon a great city.
