Work
International Students are entitled to work up to twenty (20) hours per week during their full-time studies, and may work as many hours as they wish during scheduled school breaks.
Check Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada for more information regarding working during your studies and after graduating.
Housing and Rental Accomidations and Living Expenses
Depending on your budget, rental accommodations can cost between $500.00 and $1800.00 per month. Electricity, water, phone, interment, furniture, etc. may or may not be included in the rental price.

Finances
To be eligible to study in Canada, you must provide Citizenship Immigration Canada (CIC) with proof that you have enough money to pay tuition and living expenses for the length of your program.
It is suggested that you have a minimum of $1500.00 to $2000.00 in cash or traveller’s cheques for your initial expenses. You may need more than this to finalize your rental accommodations.
If you are coming from a warm climate be prepared to purchase a warm jacket, winter boots, warm hat and mitts for our winter months.
Health Supports
Saskatchewan Health provides health coverage to full-time international students who hold a valid study permit. This covers most doctor’s fees and hospital bills. You have three (3) months to apply after arriving in Canada. Apply for a Health Services Card http://www.ehealthsask.ca

When living in Saskatoon you can travel around by Saskatoon Public Transit (students can purchase a discount bus pass for unlimited rides) or by Taxi.
Registration Day
On your first day of classes, you are expected to arrive at 8:45 AM to sign documents and make payments. Please ensure you bring your passport (original) and your study permit (original).
Full tuition and fees and supply fees must be paid on or before your start date.
