Pencil skirt
Structured outfits, like empire waist or pencil skirt, enhance the silhouette. A-line dresses add volume to your bottom half which can make you look bigger. You can pair it with a flowy top or a tighter one. Add a long neckless to give the illusion of a longer bodice.
Example:
V-neckline dresses
V- Neckline will create a high focal point which will draw the eyes toward the neck and face area. Additionally, it will create the illusion of a longer torso.
Example:
Maxi Dresses
Solid maxi dresses are the perfect option to make you look longer and slimmer. Make sure the bottom of the dress covers your shoes to create the illusion of a longer silhouette. If it has any sort of waist definition, it will be even better.
Example:
Wrap dress
This style of dress will accentuate the thinnest point of your body creating the illusion of an hourglass figure. Details such as bows or ties at your natural waist will guarantee a slimmer figure.
Example:
Small prints
Not only black fabrics make you look slimmer, try some small prints to camouflage those areas you may feel insecure about. Have in mind that bigger prints will give the impression of a bigger body, it doesn’t mean you can’t wear them, just play with them.
Example:
Black Nylons
Black tights will lengthen your legs, as well as making them look slimmer. Perfect for fall and winter season. Adding a cardigan or a blazer will complement your outfit pretty well.
